Fill out the application
About 20 minutes: your experience, availability, references and the required ODP agreements, signed online.
Step 03
Upload your documents
Photo ID front and back, Social Security card, TB test and clearances, right from your phone.
Step 04
Interview, hire and train
After you are hired, finish your free MyODP trainings within 30 days and mark each one done using your link.
What Pennsylvania requires for this work
- PA State Police checkRequest it online at epatch.pa.gov.
- FBI fingerprint checkIf you haven’t lived in Pennsylvania for the past 2 years. Schedule through IdentoGO.
- TB test and health assessmentA PPD or TB blood test and a physical from your doctor.
- Diploma or GEDYou must be at least 18 years old.
- Photo ID and Social Security cardUpload your ID front and back with your application. Bring the originals on your first day.
- CPR and First AidCurrent certification before working on your own.
- Driving rolesA valid license and insurance if you’ll drive participants.
- ODP trainings within 30 daysFree courses at myodp.org: Individual Rights, Abuse Detection and Reporting, Person Centered Practices, Incident Management, Medication Administration, Community Participation Supports and ISP Monitoring. All must be finished within 30 days of your hire date.
- NADD DSP CertificationIf you are not a CNA. Vet Fixer reimburses the fee once you are hired and pass.
